About Me
I'm a Software Engineering student at California State University San Marcos (graduating May 2027), minoring in Data Science. I maintain a 3.95 GPA and have made the Dean's List every semester.
I've interned at companies ranging from scrappy startups to Fortune 500s — Microsoft, Robinhood, Qualcomm, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, and ChakraTech. I thrive in environments where I can ship real features, architect scalable systems, and learn from the best engineers in the room.
Outside of work I lead the IEEE chapter on campus, tutor data structures & algorithms for 1,380+ students, and build side projects that scratch my own itches.

- Architected Alvion, a CV Android app for Snapdragon devices using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, CameraX, and Qualcomm Facial-Detection model to monitor driver drowsiness and distraction, delivering real-time safety alerts.
- Engineered a multi-step calibration protocol to establish baseline head-pose vectors, resolving inaccuracies from variable mounting angles and increasing mirror-glance detection precision by 30%.
- Trained a custom TFLite classifier using Python and MobileNetV2 to detect sunglass occlusion, reducing false-positive alerts by 45%+.
Johnson & Johnson MedTech
- Engineered ArgoCD-based GitOps infrastructure on Ubuntu VM to manage deployments for 50+ K3s clusters, saving 20+ hours of manual deployments per week.
- Architected Jenkins CI pipelines for 250+ applications, cutting integration cycles from 1 hour to 20 minutes for 17 engineering teams.
- Prototyped a Python/FastAPI app to stream 1,000+ industrial images/day to training servers for defect detection, supporting quality control for 3B+ contact lenses annually.

- Built a lab report platform for 10+ scientists on AWS (EC2, S3) using Terraform IaC, digitizing reporting workflows and automating data collection.
